Great nabe and people watching outside. Solidly yummy food. A really fun spot to grab a meal and a drink. Spring/Summer/Fall for the huge outdoor patio is the most fun!
Played a gig here for the first time, and they really take good care of the musicians. Had a blast playing the stage on the patio, and the friendly crowd was very receptive and appreciative. Staff is top-notch, and the food is very good. Hope I can come back, and often.
My favorite dive bar in Indy. The Dugout has a great setup. There are two sides, the old side with a lot of bar seating and outdoor seating along the sidewalk. The newer side is nice too and has a huge outdoor seating area. They have live music a couple nights a week which generally draws a decent crowd.
Recently added a third area that opens to the outside with a huge bar and a stage for live music. Live music schedule is up for the fall.
The original side is a gem though. A-lot of friendly locals and regulars. Great atmosphere with plenty of TVs and if you’re lucky, Megan behind the bar. The food here is really good too, everything is solid. Heavy pours, solid apps, great vibe. A pickle back, beer, and some pepper Jack cheese balls will do you just right. The Dugout is hands down the best bar in Indy.
Rated everything a four but overall five star. This place is nothing fancy. However, it is a unique dive bar that doesn’t exist that much in Indy anymore. More importantly the drink prices are affordable. Great place.
This is my favorite bar for food and fun 🤩 n downtown Indy! All the sportsball you could handle with great bands all year long. When you stop in make sure to ask for Danny, he will make you feel right at home and make your experience second to none!
It's a nice place with outdoor seating. There was a country western band, "The Rounders", they were exceptional. To get service, you need to walk to the bar inside. There you can get drinks and order food if you like. They will give you a number and deliver the food to your table. They were quick and friendly. Silverware and condiments were on a stand just outside the bar entrance
We ordered nachos that came out quickly and were fairly large. We thought they tasted quite good.

We sat outside to eat, took over 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged as being there, they need more help for sure. The menu here is boring, just burgers and normal fanfare, but the chicken fingers were actually good. We had to serve ourselves water because we couldn't get no service here, I personally won't be back anytime soon.
